Debbie Dick | RN
Debbie Dick began her professional journey as a nurses aid in a British Columbia nursing home. She quickly achieved her R.N. degree and challenged herself in critical care nursing, caring for critically ill patients for 9 years in Long Beach, California.
After a few years of raising family, she re-entered her professional life in Phoenix, Arizona with participation in Circle the City, HopeFest, Christ Care Clinic, and SmartPractice outpatient wellness clinic. These experiences formed her growing awareness of the importance of holistic care and the healing that is available to everyone. This passion in caring for others is the common thread running through all of her interests and endeavors.
Outside of professional life, Debbie is from Huntington Beach, California and is married with one daughter. She finds enjoyment in gardening, running, cooking, and active participation in her church.
Annie Meigs | Acupuncturist RN; MAc, LAc
Annie is a health care professional with substantial Integrative Medicine experience. She is an RN and an Acupuncturist. She provides holistic health and well being care in partnership with each client.
She has developed a style of practice in which she takes time to inform clients about Traditional Chinese Medicine and their individual diagnosis within that system. She has many years of experience combining her RN and Acupuncture skills for positive health outcomes for her clients.
Annie loves nature. Meditating while the birds sing is a great pleasure for her. She has a marvelous cat, Smilin Miles McGregor, aka Miles, who thinks he’s the boss. She is an artist, loves zumba, walking and time with friends.
Chrissy Barth | MS, RDN, RYT
Chrissy Barth, MS, RDN, RYT, is an integrative and functional performance dietitian, yoga teacher, and mind-body expert who is passionate about teaching others about optimal health by taking the confusion out of nutrition. She is the founder of Nutrition Lifestyle Education where she serves as a nutrition consultant and coach to sports teams, spas, mental health programs, medical and training facilities, corporations, and local and national media outlets. In particular, Chrissy enjoys her time working at Integrative Medicine of Arizona as she is surrounded by a team of like-minded health professionals who are invested in the wellbeing of their patients.
Chrissy received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in human nutrition from Arizona State University where she currently serves as a Lecturer in the College of Health Solutions teaching sports nutrition, complementary health care, entrepreneurship, and the development of healthy cuisine.
An athlete, foodie, and sports enthusiast, Chrissy enjoys dining out with friends and family, hiking throughout the Valley, traveling back east to visit family in Virginia, and supporting many local athletic and cultural events in Arizona. Last, but certainly not least, you can be sure to catch her in a yoga studio most days of the week practicing yoga and encourages many of her patients and clients to incorporate yoga and other mindfulness-based practices into their lifestyles for optimal wellness.
Gina Sproviero | Health Coach
Gina Sproviero is originally from Chicago, IL and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from DePaul University, a Master of Science degree in Dietetics from Loyola University and received a certificate from Yale for completing their Science of Well-being course in May 2020.
Gina began teaching Pilates in 2002 and fell in love with movement as a way to help alleviate pain. Gina has Pilates certifications from both Stott and PhysicalMind Institute. While teaching Pilates Gina discovered GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® and was amazed at the changes she saw in clients’ bodies, joints, posture and movement. She continued with specialized courses in GYROTONIC® for hip and knee; psoas; tennis and scoliosis.
Gina moved to Phoenix in 2014 and continues to enjoy working with clients to understand the power of fitness. With almost twenty years of teaching I see fitness as an important piece to a healthy lifestyle. Gina takes time to understand what her clients’ interests, to find the best form of fitness and nurture the mind/body connection.
